5 large-class buses were transferred from Poland to Lutsk

Five buses were transferred from the Polish city of Toruń to Lutsk. They will be used for the social needs of the Lutsk community and resettlers, Anna Vintsyuk, head of the international cooperation and project activities department of the city council, told Sospilny.

According to her, representatives of Toruń themselves offered to transfer buses with spare parts to Lutsk as humanitarian aid. This is already the seventh humanitarian cargo from the sister city.

Currently, the buses are at the electric transport company. "Currently, their technical review is being carried out, then registration will take place, and then the directions in which we will use them will be specifically determined," says Anna Vintsyuk.


Chernivtsi intends to buy 5 used Mercedes-Benz buses

In Chernivtsi, the municipal public transport operator intends to buy five used Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses for 6.4 million Hryvnias.

The price of one bus is almost 1.3 million hryvnias. The purchase includes three buses produced in 2008, one in 2007 and one in 2009.

The Citaro series buses to be purchased are low-floor and can carry up to 85 passengers at a time. They will be purchased with money from the city budget. The contract states that the buses should be delivered to Chernivtsi in separate batches within 20 days from the moment of signing - in the first half of October.


Chernivtsi announced the purchase of five new trolleybuses

The trolleybus company in Chernivtsi signed a contract for the supply of five new PTS-12 trolleybuses from the Ukrainian manufacturer. The cost of one trolleybus is more than 10.3 million hryvnias. 51.5 million hryvnias will be paid for the entire batch of transport.

The trolleybuses that the city plans to receive have 37 seats and can simultaneously transport 97 passengers. The machines are low-floor, equipped with air conditioners, surveillance cameras and a Wi-Fi router for 40 users. Trolleybuses have the ability to run autonomously only up to half a kilometer using a small battery.


The winner of the tender was the company "Politechnoservis" from Brovary, Kyiv region. This company previously supplied PTS-12 trolleybuses for Kharkiv, in Vinnytsia, a local utility carrier produces VinLine trolleybuses based on this model. Estonia handed over Iveco Irisbus buses to three communities of Zhytomyr Oblast

The press service of the Malinska City Council reports this on its Facebook page. The buses were received by the heads of the Malynska, Brusylivska and Lugyna communities. The keys to the donated transport were handed to them by the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Estonia Riina Sikkut.

The guests from Estonia also inspected the destroyed bridge in Malin, which connects the left and right parts of the city. Financing of the repair is provided jointly by Ukraine and Estonia, which allocates more than one million euros for it.

After the trip to Malyn, the delegation went to Lugyn, where an international conference dedicated to the reconstruction of Zhytomyr Oblast was held.


There is a shortage of drivers for new buses in Khmelnytskyi

Nine new buses worth from 1 million to 1 million 200 thousand hryvnias were purchased by the Eletrotrans enterprise. In total, their fleet includes 40 buses of various brands. Due to the expansion of the fleet, the company needs 10 bus drivers.

Municipal parking lots will start working in Odesa

Deputies of the Odesa City Council agreed to the creation of 12 parking lots, which will be equipped and maintained by the Odestransparkservice utility company. Drivers will be given the opportunity to pay via QR codes, applications and parking meters. This was reported in the press service of the Odessa City Council.

As Deputy Mayor Serhiy Tetyukhin informed, new parking rules will also be created in Odesa, and the number of parking spaces, in particular in the center, will be increased in the near future. Parking costs UAH 20 per hour. A month of use will cost two thousand hryvnias, and a year - 22 thousand.


Kyiv will hand over 30 buses to Dnipro as help after the Russian shelling

Kyiv will provide 30 passenger buses to Dnipro, where the fleet was destroyed by a Russian missile attack. This was announced by the head of the KMDA Vitaliy Klychko, the press service of the Kyiv administration reports.

"I spoke with my colleague Boris Filatov. After the shelling last night in Dnipro, almost 100 units of public transport - city buses - were destroyed or damaged. The capital supports the people of Dnipro and will provide all the help it can," Klitschko said.


Chernihiv received two buses from the sister city of Rzeszów

The Polish partner city of Rzeszów handed over two 2005 buses to Chernihiv as part of humanitarian aid. They are planned to be used on temporary bus route No. 10. This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv City Council with reference to the story of the "Ditynets" TV channel.

"After all the regular work and registering them in the service center, we plan to put these buses on the 10th route. Everything to provide transport to such remote areas as ZAZ and Siveryanka, where there is currently no contact network," says Oleksandr Ryshy, the head of the transport department.


Berlin will hand over 500 used bicycles to Ukraine

Kushka transports bicycles from Amsterdam, where the Zeilen van Vrijheid foundation together with the municipality handed over two thousand units of forgotten transport to Ukraine.

Bicycles used to be electric, but now there are no batteries. Kushka told "Skyscraper" that some funds are ready to pay for their conversion.

Currently, the volunteer is looking for a free space of one hundred square meters for a warehouse, a temporary workshop, as well as trucks that will transport bicycles in Kyiv.


Vinnytsia intends to purchase 20 used trolleybuses 07.10.2022 alltrans.ua

The Vinnytsia transport company announced a tender for the purchase of used trolleybuses. According to the specifications, these should be modern low-floor trolleybuses, manufactured no earlier than 2011, with a Škoda engine. The technical characteristics are quite similar to the Solaris Trollino 12 S trolleybuses (or the similar Škoda 26Tr).

Currently, it is not known exactly where the trolleybuses may be offered from, however, it is very likely that they will be trolleybuses from Lublin. Last year, 30 Solaris Trollino 12 trolleybuses with electric equipment from Škoda were decommissioned there, 9 of which were sold to Gdynia and Tychy, and the rest are still standing. The expected purchase price is ₴ 34 million, or approximately ₴ 1.7 million per trolleybus.
